Born Tonypandy 1 Jan 1878. 5ft 7in and 11st 7lb. Started at Llwynypia then moved to London Welsh (capt 1900-1903 and once scored 5t vs Park House Nov 9th 1901). Returned to Wales and joined Newport where he won 6 further caps. Wales : 1899-1905: 20 apps / 16t (5 apps as capt). Moved to Penycraig and played for Wales vs NZ 1905. Newport career : 46 apps/ 26t : 1901/2-1905/6. Died Pontyclun March 1973 having outlived the other 14 Welsh players of 1905 match.
