Jack was best known and called the ?Prince of Centres?. He played for Pontypool as 16yr old from West Mon in 1904/5 and captained Wales and British Lions. British Lions (Anglo-Welsh) 1908 Australia/NZ and 1910 SA. Joined Newport after 1908 Lions tour - debut Nov 1908 vs Gloucs. 14 Welsh caps (1 as capt): Dec 1908 - Jan 1921 scoring 6t. 1908/9-1909/10: 45 apps / 9t. Returned to Pontypool in 1910. Died 19 March 1951, Llantarnam.
